Re: When can we expect results?

I know everyone wants to switch and to switch asap. You have to understand we've made an investment into JLaps. To my understanding Gary is giving JLaps an ultimatum to rectify our current issue or refund or money. The "investment" you speak of is also called a sunk cost. Meaning it's ove...

Re: When can we expect results?

Last time I talked to Gary he said the guy who was in charge of Jlaps died. If they dont have anyone taking over his duties, I agree we need to find a solution. Livetime from the Motorhead and World of Wheels race seemed to work great. Is it an expensive program? I believe it's between $29.99 and $...

When can we expect results?

Just wondering if we have any good way to upload results? It seems Jlap hasn't been updated in what I will call a "coons age." It sure would be nice if we had somewhere to see overall results. I know many of our locals would really like this. Being a points racing club some people like to ...

Tuesday August 4, Work Night!

As many of you are aware, our track has gotten REALLY hard. This is a product of the dirt being so dry and packed down that moisture simply cannot get into the dirt. To fix this problem Joe K is going to skarify the dirt and repack it all down (the layout will not change). Lets get some bodies there...

Man I would love to come race with you guys! Sadly I am judging Mock Trial for the local college that weekend.

I hope some guys from here can make it up to support you guys though, I'm sure it will be a good race.

Re: Thursday night racing

Another thing to think about class wise. What about offering an "offroad class" instead of a truck or slash specific class. MMR does this is in cities with some success. Any offroad car with a stock motor can run in the class. Maybe we don't need to explore this option because there won't ...

Re: Thursday night racing

Getting done late is not a product of too many classes, it is a product of us not being diligent enough with our program. I think this is something we can fix, and hopefully from week 1 going forward this winter we do a better job of being on time. Here is a little time breakdown, and I'm assuming w...

Re: Charging at 40 amps

I don't I just wanted to find the reason behind charging at 40 amps. I know it heats up the battery which lowers the resistance. On most batteries I wouldn't think you would notice much of a gain. Wiita said he tested both and noticed no difference. If you get a decent battery to start with I don't...
