Re: Rc rockcrawling
Anybody still interested in crawling?
We have a big crawling weekend coming up and we could use some new drivers. Bring $3 Sunday and you can comp my berg at Brighton beach OR bring your junk and run for fun. Enger Tower scale run is happening Saturday.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
I vote for oil shocks, bearings, and swb bodies.. That's it.
Otherwise I can't afford to race.

Re: Thursday Night Club Racing Thread.
Little tip for the new guys.. If your car is a little fast for ya, I suggest putting Teflon washers on the front axles. The car will be much more manageable at those speeds.

Re: Thursday Night Club Racing Thread.
I would like to see a smaller track. Im not learning by driving long straights so mainly for technical driving aspect but if it speeds up the program, I say let's do it.
Speaking of.. I only run one class. Let me get and get out. Wanna run more classes, just bring more batteries.
My two pennies.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
Got my mini yesterday.. Couldn't get it to run. lame
I don't have a four cell to run to the 101's bec plug so I'm attempting to solder my castle bec into it. Looks like a $20 "fix" if we go this route.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
Sounds good. I'll beta test a nimh pack.
I was thinking smaller packs would help the power to weight ratio but I'm reading that light batteries require lead to balance the car back out.
Still no car in the mail yet.. Seller was full of talk before payment, and now.. Not so much.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
Sounds like these cars should average around 900mah in 6 minutes on carpet.
I should look around a little more.

I'd rather have a different company do quality control.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
Thanks, but I think I'll wait before buying another venom product.
With that said.. Is there a 6 cell I could barrow for this first event? I only have 3s lipos handy.
