spec class
I'm looking to get my spec car ready for the carpet season and am in need of parts (Gary?) and need to know what body to get (mine is 36 years old and a little worn) and if we are restricted to a certain Speed control.
Thanks
Paul
Thanks

I have been looking at truck bodiies but have not found one yet that would work. Protoform silverado is one. HPI makes a lot of truck bodies but most are 200mm and would like to try one to see how it fits. If anyone has found anything else please post so we can all look at them.
If the trucks don't work out I am open to anything other then the sedans we have already ran. Sedan is a big enough class on its own without having another look a like class.

Always an option but we have had many requests for nascar truck style bodies, myself included.
Do you guy's have any truck bodies up there that we would be able to try on a chassis to see if they fit? If HT can come up with a body I believe the whole spec class will be buying new bodies this year.

I have one, it is a dodge though
. It came with the car and appears to fit alright. I can bring it to a race if you want to check it out. I'm also wondering about bearings, a motor and speed controller. Forgive me if I seem to know nothing as I am new here and know nothing. I've read through this forum and either could not find the answer or can't find the part. This being a spec class I want to make sure I set it up right.
Thanks

I agree on the sprint bodies but I think they will be even harder to come up with and also the front end exposed is not the best idea.
I still vote for trucks this year and maybe change to something differant for next year.
What brand of truck bodies does anybody have and how do they fit, also are they 190 or 200mm?

I sold my Spec car but I kept my truck body I had for it, it was a perfect fit but I am not sure as to the size, you guys are more than welocome to borrow it to compare and try to find a comparable body.
F1(formula one) bodies would also be very cool to see whippin around the track and the way the spec cars drive and handle would make them a real close replica of the real thing amd I think the Formule One bodies are pretty easily found.
