Thats the car in its original box. Don't know if they came with motor and battery at that time?

Gary, put me down for one of the Chevy Bodies please. I also have a few questions, I've read the rules.

Can you run any servo? Is everyone running $15 servos or $100 servos?

How can I get some batteries? If anyone has any of these for sale, Please PM me!

How does the motor thing work? Do I need to provide you with a motor or cash?

I am running a Futaba 3010, rather cheap servo and works just fine, I don't remember the dollar amount allowed for the ESC. I know it goes by the retail price though.

The motor should come with it otherwise Gary may have one for sale still, it needs a 3" lead with a male deans plug on it that get's turned in at the end of the night and then it's a drawing for motors the following week.

Good job Mike been a dry spell for ya!!

Gunner we won't hold you to any servo, the rules are for $125.00 retail speedo. If the kit did not come with a motor I have new ones for $17.00 and I have a couple of batteries left and will be reordering. Will hold a Silverado body for you

I plan on coming up Thursday with the new spec truck. It came with a truck body a motor and a battery. Is it alright if I use the Chevy body the kit came with?
Gary, will you sell me one or two battery packs on Thursday?

What do you spec guys think of having a pit stop in a special race after
Saturday nights qualifiers of the New Years Rumble race. Everyone has the same plugs and cars. Say run for 10 instead of 5. Will have to come up with a pit person. We did this years ago with our old spec class and it was a riot No more then 10 entries draw for starting position.

From the heart of a nitro racer: LETS DO IT!!!!!!

I would also be a fan of a team race. Find transponders to borrow and switch it between a sedan, spec car, truck, and 1/12 if there's enough people on board. That would make a fun special event, maybe as a season ender, who knows?
