SO whats the trick with the difs on these? Its a real pain to even get the difs out... So I only want to do it once!

As far as your .18 goes just run it.

A big powerful motor is a DIS-advantage! I used to run the most HP I could get (WRONG move) now I have the smallest, cheapest, and only allow the throttle to open 2/3! Waaaay more driveable. As an example I was able to work my way from 12th to 4th in the A-main at the nitro series this past weekend with this set-up.

Nother thing while I am here...at the meeting I was told that since my nitro Firestorm came RTR with a .18, it was fine as long as I didn't whoop everyone constantly. Now I read the rules posted (and locked) that .12 or .15 is it. I am totally lost here guys! If I can run the truck, then that also would not be fair to the Short Course people that have to change up their RTR's. I want to get in the club and race very bad with you guys, but I am on a fixed income and can't afford a new motor for my niro, or buy a new SSC and then more stuff to go with it. I have looked around on line, and many other tracks all over are using SSC's out of the box, and are ROAR approved. But they are all a haul for me and Rose and I like the guys (and ladies) at LSRCC.

You guys need to follow along and not get caught up in it too much!!

I'll retract what I said earlier here................but this did hit me wrong this morning. Specially since I read it before my coffee. But this looked like it was pointing the finger at me, and all I asked was to help the new guy that is confused over all these post changes. I am going to quit reading them and just show up and see if I can race with what I have.

Menor, Robert and the rest are correct the quote was pointing out to Bullit that I posted correctly. Not sure how you misinterpreted my post but if you look back to what started this I told you "run what you have" and that it was more of a disadvantage.
