What are the odds we implement a 2s 7.4v cheap $25 hardcase lipo into the class? I think a little evolution would be a good thing for a great class like this. Plus you could use the lipo for off road season as well. Just a thought I and some other guys had. You know you cant use the nicads for off road 8)

Wiita, I talked with Gary about a week ago and that was one of the things he was looking into. Lipo would be the way to go.

Thanks Tice. :D Like always I'm old school. I have to see it first. It will be nice to have just one battery for the night, instead of three. Have another on me

Lots of options for batteries and that is the delema with the Spec packs we were using, they are only good enough for the spec class and they are now about as expensive as a lower priced lipo. One other thing for sure just from my own experience the lipo life of the battery has been way better then the round cells have ever been. I think anyone that has ran both can tell you the performance difference over the long haul.

The club also bought a RJ speed car to take a look at as the next spec chassis that we may allow and there will be more to come on this one.

Looking into spec brushless as well but I don't have much info yet.

I have an idea for the future of the Spec class but will wait till the fall meeting to bring it up. Please come to the meeting with an open mind.

If Roger is willing to spend money on a Lipo I would HAVE to get into this class :)

I am ordering 6 truck bodies for this class and if anyone wants one I should have them next week. The R.J. car that the club gave away will be getting a little work done to it and we will see how it goes. If the things we do to this car makes it work as well as the Street Spec car we are currently using it will be the replacement that will be allowed to run with our current cars.

Are we using trim lines or cut the body down shorter to aid handling?
The justock motor is a bit heavier. Do we have an established min weight? :smash
