changing jump on backstretch

Post by Tice »

Bullet or Gary, any thoughts on changing the jump on the backstretch so the slashes aren't lawn darts.................the run is too short to allow them to make the jump, what and when would be a good time to make some changes? Got some racers interested in helping..........

I agree with you tice, either more of a run at it, or change the jump. I can be there early in the day thursday to help or do some work, but not before.

I talked with Gary about this and he mentioned turning it into a table top.

Another solution would be to pull crappy motor and replace with brushless that you run in short course.

What a great idea...............NOT! lame Common, the spec slash is a great truck with a $20 motor, and what short course?, I like the table top idea, tanks don't fly, but can drive over a table.........by the way it's time you raced a slash...........have some fun!

I'm with Tice on the tabletop!
Also with Tice on GG getting a Slash, that would be cool.

I like the table top as well.

I'll be working 14 hour days this week bringing the new building at UWS online, so will probably miss racing again :(

I agree with the table top. Even if you're to give the Slash's a run, your still going to be pushing it.

Best I can shoot for is 4:30 but if anyone shows up earlier with a shovel, I think its safe to begin changing unless it's a swamp. Use your best judgement, (remember TABLE TOP we don't want to haul a ton of dirt just reshape it a bit. If Bullets there he's an expert, as is Gary.......they'll know what needs to be done..

No problem Tice I don't mind helping out when I can. It's hard for me to make it to the track other then on race nights as I live almost an hour and a half away.

Thanks everyone that helped make the change and get this race night off. The track was in pretty good shape other then a little soft in a couple of spots and some car cleaning but its outside off road racing and changing track conditions is a part of off road racing.
