Attention spec truck drivers
I am just wondering what the general concensus of the class is, are we staying with the brushed motors or are we changing to brushless as someone mentioned in another forum. I would prefer to stay with brushed motors and change the race length to 6 minutes. I enjoy this class alot and hope it stays the way it was, I could see changing to brushless if we had a shortage of good motors but my understanding is we have plenty.I know onroads a ways off but im trying to figure out what im going to run this winter.

Yes we have plenty of motors and the plan is to stay with the hand out motors. Like I have been saying all along at some point we will run out of motors and then we will have to make a change. Race time can be talked about and if we do run longer we may have to pick a new gear ratio to make it easier on the motors. Still cars available if you take the time to find them.

maybe this is a good spot to post those cars that are available... I looked last year for a few weeks and could not find one, would be nice to make it easier on people. I know there around just couldn't find one when I was looking.

Gary,
If mini cooper was to switch to brushless this would be a great way to test those motors and speedos for the spec trucks next year. Would the club consider ordering the motors and speedos and keeping them in stock for the mini coopers too?
