Unfortunately we're at the mercy if the armory's schedule. I do agree with Billy, maybe take the week off, let everyone recharge for the new year.

I understand things come up, but don't we go over a schedule with the armory at the beginning of the season and get all the dates approved. If there is going to be a conflict they should let the club know in advance. That way the club can let people know there will be no racing. Its kind of a bummer to drive an hour and a half only to find out racing's cancelled.

On a side note Merry Christmas everybody!

We have never had to cancel 1.5 hours before we are to start racing, this was a first and the reason is the new Sgt. had no idea of the space we use because he is out of Spooner and was not at the armory on Thursday. I called him at 4:00 to make sure our out side building key was left out for us and 5 minutes after I hung up the Armory called to let me know the Salvation Army was using the floor. On top of that I left my home number work number and cell number to call me in advance if the Salvation Army was going to use the Armory on our dates and obviosly I did not get a call. Last year it worked out for us because of the Salvation Armys schedule worked around ours and they always ask for space at the last minute. The Sgt was going to make them move for use but they have a lot of work to do for needy families and I didn't feel it would be right to make them more work being a person that donates a lot of time doing club buisnes I understand there needs. The Sgt is giving us a free race night to make up for our inconviniance so watch the schedule and we will make this date up and add a free race night. I can understand everyones frustration but I couldn't have made the instructions to notifie me any easier I even used Kevin and Randy as examples of needing to know ahead of time about canceling. Another note they are rekeying the Armory and we are going to get our own key again for the storage building.

Happy Holidays
Gary
