D3.5?

Post by WIITA »

Should we discuss the d3.5 or has there been a decision? Just so everyone knows.

Not legal anywhere after this off road season. I'd hate to but a new motor, don't have a choice. The question is which d4 is the one to get?

Its legal for most club races across the board, once the d4 came out and was faster than the 3.5. Im running the 3.5 in my 12th scale til I get the hang of it.

Nick, not sure if the d3.5 will be allowed, I'm also not sure how we're going to handle this one. You can barely give a d3.5 away on rctech.

Guys have run 13.5's in 12th scales on club nights and are allowed, as well as 2s VTA's while it was a 1s class. The d4 is faster than the d3.5, if its an issue, dont score me.........

Time to stick a fork in the D3.5, we have delayed this decision too long already. Just move on.

The d3.5 is done. It sucks having to buy a new motor. Yes it was ran last winter but it was still legal then.

ROAR made these motors illegal last winter. A lot of clubs allowed the d3.5 to run through the winter but not come summer. I'm in the same boat, I have a d3.5 I can't use this winter. So no matter whether I run vta or 1/12th scale I have to buy a new motor.

Not sure Nick. We have to have a club meeting about this winter. I'm sitting in limbo like everyone else.
