Trinity called today and said they are making up more kits and faxed me the parts they have on hand, so look over the parts list and maybe we can place an order and have everything we need before we start racing.
I was going to order 4 more kits incase anyone else is interested in this class.

If this rain gets any worse, I'll be ordering an Arc.....Still trying to get my old LRP Runner to function........hoping it was the lack of juice from my Mini that wouldn't get it to work......But this one looks like a good cheap one for the spec if it doesn't start working.......

The motors as far as I know will be all the same and turned in every night..and handed out in no particular order every week.

Tritiy called today and said we should have 6 more cars by the time we start racing. Will have to let me know how many batteries we should get.
One more reminder. We will have a best of show trophy for this class so get creative and spray some paint.

Are we going to put deans on ALL motors to expedite the motor turn in at the end of the night? And who is going to do all the soldering?
I would volunteer my time to do batteries and motors. I think Greg said he would help out also.
anybody interested can PM me to make arrangements or see me at the track once we get rolling, would like to get most of them done before we start so that there is not a mad rush to get them all done in one night....
If anybody is going to do their own soldering make sure that:
-Batteries have a female end
-motors have a male end. I think everybody should put the same length lead on the motor so that the wiring will not come up short at the time of installation on race night.

I just put my motor in. tried a couple differant configurations and I ended up with the positive tab to the rear of the chassis and used Deans wet noodle 12 ga. wire, I cut the wires 2 3/4" long.
The only real trick was to solder the leads after the motor was in and it helps to hold the wires up at an angle that will allow easy removal of the motor.
Let me know if anybody wants me to take care of their motor soldering for them....
