As far as your .18 goes just run it.

A big powerful motor is a DIS-advantage! I used to run the most HP I could get (WRONG move) now I have the smallest, cheapest, and only allow the throttle to open 2/3! Waaaay more driveable. As an example I was able to work my way from 12th to 4th in the A-main at the nitro series this past weekend with this set-up.

If I can run the truck, then that also would not be fair to the Short Course people that have to change up their RTR's. I want to get in the club and race very bad with you guys, but I am on a fixed income and can't afford a new motor for my niro, or buy a new SSC and then more stuff to go with it. I have looked around on line, and many other tracks all over are using SSC's out of the box, and are ROAR approved. But they are all a haul for me and Rose and I like the guys (and ladies) at LSRCC.
You guys need to follow along and not get caught up in it too much!! :stupid: :lol

This is ALLLL the way back from only 3 posts ago on the previous page :owned: :lol

I'll retract what I said earlier here................but this did hit me wrong this morning. Specially since I read it before my coffee. :smash But this looked like it was pointing the finger at me, and all I asked was to help the new guy that is confused over all these post changes. I am going to quit reading them and just show up and see if I can race with what I have.

Grumpy, I'm pretty sure Hammers fun was being poked at Bullet, not you.
It looks to me like he was quoting you to prove to Bullet that he answered the right question on the right thread.

Any time. If you have a question just call or P.M. me, I'll try to help you with anything you need.
It's not always easy to find the right answer between all the B.S. you find on here.

Grumpy Hammer was talking about bullit to prove what he was saying was a fact about the .18. Hammer couldn't make the meeting due to a hang up with his constuction company work before play he called and told me he couldn't make the meeting because he had to meet with a home owner.

WTF, like you come on here and say things like "let's meet up and see who owns who". Sounds like your the childish one. It's jackass things like this that really piss me off. You have 2 options, show up and have a great time running what you have( like we said at the meeting) or take your ball and go home. Don't come on here and bash a guy that does a lot for this club.

Grumpy.
Menor, Robert and the rest are correct the quote was pointing out to Bullit that I posted correctly. Not sure how you misinterpreted my post but if you look back to what started this I told you "run what you have" and that it was more of a disadvantage.
