Nice if they are roar legal and available in the US I think we should vote that battery as the spec battery it will work great in offroad too!

I should probably retire my 3 year old half dead lipos that I need to use to trick the roar officials to approve my puffed fantom batteries :)

There $42 through hobby town. Tim already said they would support this class so I think Its the way to go.

I'd rather have a different company do quality control.

How long do we run at any given event?

6 min boss. The only other battery choice that I'm aware of is over seas. Roar approved but not worth the wait and shipping cost.

Sounds like these cars should average around 900mah in 6 minutes on carpet.

I should look around a little more.

Remember though. If everything flies this will be a spec class and that means we will spec a battery. The venom is the best bang for your Buck with local support.

Team Orion makes a pack, A Main has it for $36.

Its only 2400mah.. You can get a Venom 4000 for the same price... In my opinion... I would get a 20-25C battery with the most amount of mah for the least price.

Its hard to see in those pics but the pack has to have a nimh shapes since it slides through the chassis. The venom fits for sure... I know that.

There was a mini on ebay, and it came with that pack, so i figure it must work.

I'm not saying it doesn't. Its hard to see in the pic. The pack has to have the shape of a nimh. My Orion 3800 that is rounded doesn't fit.

I know what your saying, but i believe it does work, and maybe it's an option. As far as Hobbytown supporting the Mini's, will have to see it to believe it, it's not often that i can find what i am looking for, and thats for cars that are common. Don't get me wrong, i like the Mini and will probably get one. Looking forward to seeing them race.
