I knew the first time I saw this picture that this body would end up on Guertins car.

Four coopers at andrews today with great racing! Looks like it could be another fun class that drivers from our club could race on the weekend races down there. At one point andrew mentioned all four cars had the same fast lap!

Rumor has it that the Wiitta broke rule 1 and 3 on Sunday...

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
Add another to the non-pooper ranks, Ben Schorr just ordered his. He will be in town for 3 or 4 weeks around the holidays so will be racing with us.

Here's a link to the shocks. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wt ... LXGL65&P=7
I think the lower ride height without the hopity hop is worth it but not absolutely necessary.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
Hi Guys,
IMO, it is far easier to follow the TCS Mini rules. The "new" stock esc is as fast as any other out there, we have guys running LRP's, Tekin micro's and what not here and they are no faster than the tamiya kit esc.
Don't get caught up with the motors and if you feel it is neccessary, have everyone buy one, etch a number on them and then do a random draw for motors for the day.
We sell alot of this battery http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wt ... XYDA3&P=ML . The Orion Rocket packs are good to. we used to buy the Yeah Racing packs in bulk, but shipping drivs the price up around $8 a pack.

Re: Mini Cooper Thread
I have old TC3 shocks they are the right length. Can I use those or do I have to spend $40 on shocks and springs. All I'm looking for is having the oil filled shocks.

After further thought I completely agree with Eric. Tamiya rules would be the easy way to go.
