Dont like the truck body idea Roger? I think it would be cool. we need a new look out there, other than cars. I'm not agenst runing the listed spec bodys though. I just want to race the car. so what ever the people decide. I'll be happy :)

all I was asking if we could run the other car bodies that was in the rules so we aren't all looking the same, but Gary said we are just going to run the stratus body. Silverbullit the truck bodies will be ok later. Bigred thats fine. Thanks to all for the info. I'm not to cool about the Tamiya connecters on the batterys, brings back to many bad nightmares :( , but if we go with it OK. :D Double Trouble

I dont think anything has been set in stone. I'm assuming the next club meeting all these issues will be brought up. Battery connectors, speed controlers,... We still have about 3 months before we need to have all this decided

I know for sure bearings in the front wheels are allowed.

Josh is right we will get these things taken care of at the next meeting.
More then likely we will be using the Deans for batteries and motor conectors. If Trinity can't supply the bodies then we would allow 190mm stratus bodies that are made by someone else. For that matter if you have an old stratus body make new holes for the mounts and run it for the first season. This is only for those that bought there cars on E-bay and if we can not get the same bodies.

So what are we going to do about the spur gear issue, cant believe Trinity would have no way to keep the gear centered on the axle :? I'm assuming a bearing would be ok.

Yes even in there rules the bearing is o.k. Just can not use the centering cone found on other pan cars. We must use the thrust bearing just like the old days. NASCR still usese carbration instead of injection.
