SO what about the Molzer Mowery rules where you can change out the speed controler due to its continuous failure? I had one go bad at Starbuck that costed me the overall win.

what are you talking about? It was your receiver that was bad in starbuck. Even after you changed it out you still had the same problem. 8)

According to andrews rules, you are allowed to change the esc and or the servo if you like, but if you want to race with us you have to use the stock esc and servo but you may switch the receiver.

Are internal shock limiters legal? Just wondering after watching a belly dragger tear up the field at mmr this weekend.

I wanna try something similar but I'd hate to make a mistake that gets me dq'd

allan is quicker do to driver..

I can not see were changing internal limiters would be against the duluth rule package. As I understand the same rule package applies that did outside.. which means the MMR rules are more open in some areas and less in others...

ie stock speedo and servo for duluth.. also MMR is a Off Road class, just happens to be all slashes doing battle.

I have only seen one bad speedo yet, and bens.. all others have been more then fine for all the abuse we have been able to give them...

I'm suprized that not one of are officers hasn't said anything. The rules say the shocks are to stay in stock form. If these people want to do these mod's, then go run in a open or mod class. Spec is spec. Nothing against you Pit Bitch, your only asking. I guess some people just want to get that Bowling Trophy. My Trophy is to just finish the race without breaking.

If we go by what the rules say, yes you can slam it by adding limiters, but there has to be a limit becausE the trucks can't be making contact with the carpet and wrecking the carpet. Besides slamming the truck is probably gonna have an adverse effect on the trucks overall handling

Thanks to clear that up. I'm not trying to scrape the carpet but I will for sure get some secret squirl stuff going on so I don't get lapped... Again 8)

just a first time driver here trying to keep up

Limiters are the same as droop screws. Truck even comes with some in. Just a tuning option not a
modifacation IMO.

Allan has a easy 1.5 -2 inches of ground clearance so not even close to dragging. I not even sure you could get it that low with stock tires.... Min ride ht would be a good idea and a block can be built to make checking very easy.

Wierd. I must be using new that new math. At rest my front skid is at 1.5" and rear a little under 1.25"
