Races like the Electric boogie, Electric enduro, Chill On The Hill and two other weekend events, there dates will be announced soon.
More to come

Bullet or Gary, anyone going to be at the track tonight? Would it be ok to rework the jump on the backstretch? and how do we want to do it. It needs a little less canyon in between jumps so the slashes can clear the jump. Tabletop? Whatever, direction please...................

With the sponsors race just around the corner June 30 to be exact I would like to get the rest of the track work done. We still have to roll up the tarps in the field, cover the dirt pile, burn the old rotted track boards, finish staining the stairs and railings on the drivers stand. Thats about it except for cutting the grass or mowing the rocks up there.
Dan needs to fix the sponsors signs the have been damaged.
Then of coarse there is always track grooming that can be done, Tubes that were replaced need to be stored and finish putting down the new ones.
Just a reminder this is the last year of our lease and the Fair Gounds Sale will be finalized in October so we should put our best foot forword to make a good impression. The people we have to sign a lease with don't care about the track racing surface condition but they do care about how the race park grounds look.
As long a Mike has not been posting when he is going to do track work I will do a better job watching this post to let anyone that wants to help know when I will be up there. I have been up at the track just about two or three times a week whenever my schedule alows me to be there. I am not bragging but to give an example I was up on Saturday to fix the lawnmower and cut some grass, Up on Sunday to do grass trimming and empty the garbage, up on Tuesday night (track work night) fix the broken night light sign windows with the help of Joe K. more lawn mowing and move some old track boarders around, up on Wednesday night for the Fair Board Meeting, up on Thursday to play in the mud with the other racers that are not afraid of getting there off road equipment dirty.
Weather permitting it will be another Tuesday track work day and I will be up at the track sometime this weekend when I can work it out between grad parties and work at home along with the weather.
Gary
PS Everyone did a great job on Thursday working together to get the track work done along with getting the race in.
