We now have 4 cars ordered for racers on Thursday night and permission to run them so I am starting a thread to talk about them.

Below are a few videos of some mini cooper racing for those that want to see what they are about! Car was meant to be cheap it is 124.99 and the bearing kit is 21.99, you will need a lipo, servo, and radio to run it.

Here is a dumb video of someone unboxing theirs... if you want to see what you get

This class is a great idea!! Someone can get in for around 200 total. Greg, have you seen where you can get the round cell lipos? How about servo? Can you just use a standard 1/10 size servo?

Standard servo.

I have been sending emails to people but I have used these lipo's for years with good luck. Witta these were the trickery ones from the Nats! They are all over ebay with 2 batteries and a lipo sack for 70 bucks shipped.

Omaha races this as a spec class. I think its their biggest class. They have 540 motors, spec gearing, and Venom 3000mah Nimh packs.. They might have upgraded to Lipo though.

I checked with stormer hobbies for a quantity discount and they couldn't because their cost was $97 bucks.
they are selling them for $118.00 not a big profit margin but still a good price.

I talked to Dan R. up at Hobbytown today, he said he would order one for the store to sell and also stock some parts, he also said that they had run them in the past and were a good choice for a spec class.

Hey guys.. I bought a M03 today but I have a problem...

It's a Suzuki Swift.

At $40+ for a new body I hope to run this shell until it's junk.

It's polycarbonate if that helps. lame
