I think this new Losi Short Course buggy is pretty cool. Could these run with regular buggy?

I agree they do look cool. Kyosho makes one too. They call it Ultima DB. Some of the guys are talking about starting a old buggy class. Like the first type rc-10, ultima, and losi buggys.

This buggy would be much more suited to running with the Short Course trucks. It uses the same wheels and tires and is nearly the same in dimensions, only a slightly shorter wheelbase. Overall it will probably handle very similarly to a SC truck, but I would assume it will jump better without a parachute of a body. Looks pretty cool though. And after all, most places just call it "Short Course" and not "Short Course Truck." I wouldn't buy one to race until you bring it up at the club meeting but I doubt it would be a problem.

I think if you were going to buy a new a new rig to run in the buggy class you should get a losi 22. The only thing is you would probably want to get a saddle pack but you can get them pretty cheap from hobby king. You already have a motor and speedo.

Thanks Guys, I pre-ordered a 22 but decided to cancel. Needed to be more excited about the class to drop the money.
