Greg is it possible to get the rules put on the website for all the classes being run at the motörhead madness race. So that everything is cut and dry.

The 1/12 is ROAR
The Rubber Stock Sedan is ROAR
The SS Sedan is open speedo 17.5/open tires. Everything else is ROAR
Spec truck-I think everyone knows.
Mini- Any TCS mini is legal.
Any 25.5 Roar legal VTA is legal-(which is what you range guys wanted) :)
1s VTA. same as everywhere else except the weight min of 1450.

Its sure going to be nice when we can all run the same rules as the rest of the country, LOL

We are running a 17.5/1s VTA class at the State Champs. It doesn't say "MMR Spec" because were not running "MMR Spec".

Mini and VTA rules for State Champs

I was at the club meeting last fall when we decided to run VTA on Thursday's. I'm positive at the meeting we said that the rules for the class would be mmr spec. I run a TC3 and with the new rule I would have to add 2.5 ounces to my car. I can understand wanting to level the playing field but why now. I really hope this change doesn't discourage a lot of racers. We all need to remember one of the biggest goals of this race is to get RC racing out in front of the general public. So they can see what it's all about and maybe even get some new people racing.

Are the VTA bodies allowed strictly USVTA spec? My understanding is no to corvettes.
I'm good here but some guys run the vette body at club races.
