racing this winter?

im looking to get into carpet racing this winter. and im kinda wondering what classes and all that good stuff you guys run or what could use more people. i dont have any cars yet, but i figure the sooner i know the more time i have to prepare for the season. so many nfo would be great im new to the carpet racing world, but it seems like alot of fun and something to take up some time durring the long cold winter

IMO, vta is a great class to get into, you can get into it cheap and any sedan chassis works from the tc3 up to the newer cars. we run 1s batteries that you can get for around $30 and the same with 17.5 motors that are ran in the class.

thanks alot. i actualy have a tc3 laying aroung. just needs electronics. so 17.5 brushless? any limitations on speed control or anything?

17.5 brushless, roar legal blinky speedo, stock vta tires only, 1s 3.7v battery.
Everyone runs the same stuff

also if anyone could post some links, or recomend stuff that would be great!

like what motor and speedo you like, anything like that will help

Here's my suggestions:
Esc: hobbywing 1s
Motor: d3.5
Spur gear you will need mid 70s and 54-59 pinions. Should be a good start.
