Hey guys, I am starting the process of converting a hpi sprint2 drift car into a 25.5 VTA car. What are you guys typically running for final drive ratios on our track layouts? I know the gearing I have now is way off from what it needs to be. I am sitting around a 6-ish FDR right now with the drift setup. The google is telling me I should be closer to 4. :D

Thanks!

Agreed 4.0 is a good place to start. After a lot of playing both higher and lower this year I'm back to 4.0 and running better.

Ive found until you can consistantly cut laps, the gearing isnt really important. The .10th you gain by being on point with gearing is long lost if you spend 4 laps on your roof :)

Haha, makes sense. I am sure I will be crashing a bit my first time out. I plan to have the car out for its first run this thurs.
