OUTDATED:
For those of you interested in the Spec class, I am posting the rules from the Trinity website. As far as I know we're going to use them to the letter. Someone brought up to me that other 1/10th pan cars can can be used in the Spec class. Its in the rules, check for part # to see if your car applys.
You can view the rules here http://lsrcc.com/Spec_Class/spec%20class.htm or you can download the pdf version here
Also here is the link for the complete parts listing for the car http://www.teamtrinity.com/cars/streetspeclist.asp
I hope we can get this class together and moving in the right direction. Hope to see you on the track!

If someone were to like say bring one of these down before the other ones come in would there be a class to run it in?? Even if it was not competitive??

I thought the idea of us having a Spec class was for all of us to run the same cars, not different kinds of chassis. If we allow different chassis to race then I think we wasted a lot of time trying to decide what cars to run, when we could have just had a 1/10 scale class with spec equipment. Just my opinion!

No,No-- I have a Trinity Street Spec just like the ones coming I bought used, I also am going to get one that is ordered but I wanted to try to get my girlfriend interested so I got a used one--- it is everything in the rules but nobody else has one yet so I hope it will be here by Wed. and I would like to run it. I was hoping I could just run against the sedans or 12th scales til everyone else get's theirs???

If it does come in time I might have to ask someone to charge my batteries up, I got three packs but I'm sure they need a charge and all I have is a fast charge CX-15 which I'm told not to use or it could wreck them..

Always have a couple chargers running, if possible get there a bit early and I can keep you set up for the night!

Do you guys have any more of those kits for sale? I am currently out of sedans, and was wondering if you would allow a 10L3 on-road car to run with your street spec cars? I would of course use the same battery and motor as your cars, but if you have kits, how much? what kind of body? Will you guys be including this class in the onroad champs in Eveleth?
Just curious...

Maxx, I always try to be there by 5 to get things rolling and help set-up but sometimes it's hard to leave work on time or are working a ways from home, but I try anyway...
Longroofer, We should here from the director on this one, I am ok with it I guess it depends on the rules though. We are planning on following Trinitys rules on this class and they have a few other chassis that are approved, as far as cost goes the chassis, batteries, motor, and foams were $100 with an unpainted body (everyone will run the same body, and there has been some talk about going to a truck body) we have a dozen coming and I think they are spoken for unless someone were to back out. But can always get more. Finally I don't believe that they are running that class for the state race, as far as I know we are the first ones to add this class.
Hope I covered everything......

The radio that it came with dos't even hardly look used in fact it dosn't look used but it did not come with the book-oh well i guess I'll just look it up on-line.
