Jim, look at what this thread is about. It's about a racer asking for more race days to support the club. If members are willing to come and race a couple of Tuesdays before the end of the season that's showing that they are willing to support the club isn't it?
I wouldn't mind trying to get on the dirt one or two more times before winter myself.
It's only September, it's still dirt season and unlike some guys I'm not ready to pull my gear out of my dirt cars to put into my carpet cars. Last I looked our clubs carpet season doesn't start until November! Support the club!

Our turnout has been weak. The biggest class has been novice for the last four weeks. If it wasn't for them we would not of had volunteer corner marshals. All that I am saying is why put forth the effort if the turn out is going to be small.
so far there has only been 5 racers commenting on this topic. If their was more chatter about it !I'm game!

any chance the low turnout has been because people have conflicting work schedules? Every time I go to the track I see people that I have never seen before running on our track. Last week I saw 3 people running nitro monstor trucks on the track and they said they did not know we raced or when but were shipping out in the military next week. Maybe if we raced more our club would grow?
one more thing... I dont think we can count the lack of traffic to our website as the number of users that are interested... Maybe we should bring it up on thur ans see if we have enough interest to justify adding next tuesday?
