I agree Tom, after all we are still "paying rent" plus some with the entries we are getting.
IMO springs in Cooper would be a plus giving that the original Cooper group voted to allow oil shocks. To have a spring installed that will possibly not allow the oil shock to work properly would be a loss of the money spent. Since you can buy the entire set for $7 price is a non issue. Every spec class I have seen, suspension tuning is allowed.

Re: New Spec Class
I'm all for putting oil filled shocks on the cooper and being able to use different springs, but I think the mods need to stop here otherwise before we know it the cost of these cars will get out of hand. I also think that everything that has been decided that is legal for these cars needs to be posted in one place so people can find it easily. I had questions about the class and searched all over and ended up pming Billy about it. I know there is a core group of guys that got this class going but you need to share whatever info you have with everyone. I would like to see the battery options opened up not for performance but just to be easier to find not many places carry that venom battery, I know tenergy makes almost the exact same battery 4000mah but its 25c and the price is the same. Also if a guy had a battery that would fit that had a lower mah I think that would be acceptable also.
Re: New Spec Class
Nothing wrong with the cooper class, I'm thinking on ditching 1/12th scale for it. Looks to be fun and competitive, and with the price, what is the price?
no really, the total price(not a slam, a question).........or, I'll buy Tims for $100 when he gets bored. Are ya bored yet Tim? Trade you a Tekin for it, or a complete 12th........
Still love the truck and will be there Thursday.....
