new to lipo questions

Post by Hesh »

im trying to make the jump to lipos, but for every question i find an answer to i find 8 more, and i honestly no nothing about lipos and am confused... if im gonna shell out for this upgrade, id like to do it right the first time.. can anyone reccommend a good charger that will handle everything, maybe even a dual charger? i would prefer ac/dc and i got about 150 to spend.. what other things do i need for dealing with lipos?

thank you

Buy two of the chargers witta runs. Not sure the name check with him on sunday. I have a dual charger but it runs about 200 after everything and only charges lipo... also requires a power supply.

If you get that charger it will balance everything for you... No need for anything else. You will not regret making the change, lipo makes charging alot easier. Most of us are running one battery for each car and just repeaking inbetween runs.

I run the thunder ac6. Charges everything and comes with all of the balancers and plugs. They are around 50.00. Google that name and you can find them. I believe I got mine from amazon.com. Myself and a few others have been using them for a while now and have seen no problems.
