Keep it the way you have ti for now.. Dont follow what "other" people are doing... Stock, Bearings, Oiled filled shocks if you "think" you need them, stock gearing, Lipo. And then decide on a few alt tires... S compound... M compound.. Slicks...

We got to test the Sweep tires tonite on the minis and all I can say is WOW, these tires work great. It looks like we found the replacment for the kit tires. Billy and Wiita both tried them out and both gave them a thumbs-up. They are the least expensive tire I have seen, work great on the track, supposed to wear really well so will last longer than the stock tires, come premounted and are easy to get right from Sweep USA. Good thinking Bullet, 1 for you, 1 for me........ :lol Just kidding........So when I tear my Cooper apart this weekend, (Maybe, seems like a lot of work) what should I put in the diff? I'm thinking peanut butter and honey. It's not only gooey but will smell good, and you can eat the excess. And if you have a mouse problem, it will attract them and then you can run them over. :smash OK seriously, whats the hot ticket, I'm going to Wal-Mart shortly and need to know where to shop, the grocery department or the kiddie section. Beers in the grocery department, maybe thats all I need, I can stare at the car and have a couple..... Bolt on some new tires and finish 4th or 5th next week and be perfectly happy.

Tice, you can buy the extra set from me if you would like. I recomend you use a light coat of standerd ball dif. grease (the clear stuff). It seems that no matter how thick the gear dif. fluid that you use, it just gets flung out of the dif. and starts oozing out the chassis. nless you decide to lock it up with silly putty. lol.

Do the Sweep tires perform so well that stock tires may be a disadvantage? Not trying to start something, just wondering if i need to order right away, or just hold off.

Menor told me the sweeps have a little less top end down the strait, becuse of the smaller tire dia. but work great in the infield.

OK, not having any kids is a disadvantage when shopping for silly putty, couldn't find any at Wal Mart, ripped the Cooper apart had a beer, looked at it, lost some parts on the floor, had another cold one, did kind of what Bullet suggested but put a lot of clear diff grease in there. I'll bring lots of rags to clean up the mess  had one more cold one, put some of the Coop back together and here I am. I did order a set of tires Friday so someone else can buy your extra's . But thanks anyway. And I almost forgot........

In heat 1 last week I ran the Sweeps and Billy ran kit tires, Billy came in 1st I was 2nd. In heat 2 Billy ran the Sweeps and I ran the kit tires, I came in 1st Billy was 2nd. We didn't run them in the Main. Do you need them to race? No. Do they work good? Yes. I think for me I was just happy they worked at all. Going to the track Thursday I didn't have much hope for them, why?, I think it was just because they are different tires, slicks and smaller dia. Didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling for some reason. I think the thing I liked the most is they made the car feel more consistant from one lap to the next. It's not because they are "better" than the kit tires it's because my kit tires are all worn out, half slick half tread. My fast lap with them was 15.7 and my fast lap with the kit tires was 15.7. I will be running them on thursay and saving what is left of my kit tires to use at MMR just in case they decide to not allow the Sweeps, Andrew is going to get some to test at his track. See you at the track.

Not equal at all. track is 90% infield. buy them, they are substantially better. 8)

WOW, I'm a little disappointed, not that beer is cold or how well the tires work, but not one comment on the "Go Packers!!!!" I'm not sure if it's the lack of support from Packer fans or just because a lot of people quit watching football weeks ago.......Let's rename this post "Mini Smack" So shoot me, I'm too lazy to post in smack talk. :smash
