racing this winter?
im looking to get into carpet racing this winter. and im kinda wondering what classes and all that good stuff you guys run or what could use more people. i dont have any cars yet, but i figure the sooner i know the more time i have to prepare for the season. so many nfo would be great im new to the carpet racing world, but it seems like alot of fun and something to take up some time durring the long cold winter
Re: racing this winter?
IMO, vta is a great class to get into, you can get into it cheap and any sedan chassis works from the tc3 up to the newer cars. we run 1s batteries that you can get for around $30 and the same with 17.5 motors that are ran in the class.javner13 wrote:im looking to get into carpet racing this winter. and im kinda wondering what classes and all that good stuff you guys run or what could use more people. i dont have any cars yet, but i figure the sooner i know the more time i have to prepare for the season. so many nfo would be great im new to the carpet racing world, but it seems like alot of fun and something to take up some time durring the long cold winter

Re: racing this winter?
17.5 brushless, roar legal blinky speedo, stock vta tires only, 1s 3.7v battery.

Re: racing this winter?
Here's my suggestions:
Esc: hobbywing 1s
Motor: d3.5
Spur gear you will need mid 70s and 54-59 pinions. Should be a good start.
