Need volunteers for Garfield ave Drag Races

RE: Garfield avenue Drag Races Sept 8th

Our club has a opportunity to do some free advertising. I was looking into getting a booth at the Garfield ave drag races.
They want $250 a day. ouch! I talked to the promoter and he gave us a chance to put up a booth for $0 .

He asked us for some parking lot attendants 2 guys 8am-12 and 2 guys 12-4 pm and 1 guy to sit in the booth which we can rotate at.

the volunteers will receive a T-shirt and a lanyard and entrance to the car show and races.

We could do it sat and sun. but I'm just shooting for sat. so I can watch the races on sunday.
Just a heads up ,This is the same weekend as STARBUCK.

I hate the drag races lol. They kick us out of our building down there each year, royal pain in the butt for us. But it may be great exposure for us.

i'd love to go to see that jet semi drag truck, but i am planning to try to go to starbuck... if i don't go i would love to help. i will keep in touch~

We currently have 3 volunteers, John Witta and Chris Cox and myself. 1 or 2 more would be good.
John has offered to help set up the booth and Chris will be helping park cars in the morning.
Someone to help park cars in the afternoon would be great.

This was a good event for our club. We had a lot of people come up and talk about r/c racing and It gave us a chance to advertise our club. Thanks go out to Mike Tillman of Duluth Superior trophy who set us up with a free space for our easy up and table.
Also to those who helped with the booth, My Daughter Ali and Nick Cox who helped me set up the booth and Witta and Bullit for manning the booth.
Next year we will do this ,but Bigger and better. Thanks again.
