Mrt transponders

Post by letrbuk »

I saw this on rctech and thought everyone at the club should know. The MRT transponders will not work when the clubs decoder comes back from being upgraded. You can send your old one into mylaps and get a new one right now for $36.

I saw that post too, I will try and get a hold of Gary, maybe wait until after this race for updating the decoder.

Wiita posted that the decoder has already been sent in. I sent my mrt in today to make sure I get the good deal while they still have it.

Does this upgrade only affect this MRT transponder? or does it affect other ones? MRT is just a name brand? Mine is AMBrc DP (red color) and I would like to know if mine has to be upgraded. Thanks for any info.
