Would an icharger 308duo be sufficient for charging at 30amps?

Why can't we just all put a flippin car on the track and have some fun? We always have to start with all this B.S. every time. If you have to have all brand new latest and greatest everything to put a VTA on the track you are looking at the class wrong from the get go. Spending $300.00 plus on a charger to run VTA makes you a Dork! The whole point of the Spec'd motor is so you don't have to run out and buy a new motor every season, I have 3 years on my 25.5 now and won't get a new one unless it burns up. Just run the 2s packs you already have, everyone has them already. Jeez , stop already. Don't forget, ya gotta drive the car too, can't buy that!

Could not agree more Greg. I am in favor of the 25.5/2s version, but the fact that we won't know what class(es) will exist so close to season sucks. Easier to not field a VTA for me this season. Just getting a car ready for Zet to run.

I understand what you are saying and agree with the timing thing, that's why Wiita and started the conversation this spring, some people just wanted to argue about it instead of getting it settled ahead of time. Now the season is on our doorstep.

Run them together until everyone goes to proper vta
You have class but I have style. When we get to the track you will know the difference.

No, don't run them together. Everyone knew this was coming, no surprise there. On one hand you have guys planning on buying new cars, batts, motors, charger, and so on, dropping big coin. Then you have some just wanting to run whatever they feel like and not be on the clock? Why did they buy $100.00 transponders in the first place? Get serious people! Why does the club have a computer and scoring system? Why have corner marshals? If the rules for VTA change they change for the entire club, period. As of now it looks like there is a good chance it will change, more than half of our VTA racers have already voted to change. We gonna keep it the same as it was for 4 people! That's not the way it works. You have 2 months to buy a new motor or you can wait till you get one to run, simple enough. Sell your old motors, it will help with the cost, it's what the rest of us do. You want to put it off for another year? O.K., buy a new 17.5 then and next year you will have to buy another motor,25.5, and you will be sad because you have a 1 year old not the newest latest and greatest fastest 17.5 sitting there doing nothing that you can't sell because trinity came out with a newer motor to replace yours. why put it off any longer?

So it was ok for you to run your 2s car for testing with the 1s cars last year, but now its cut and dry this is the way its going to be? Little hypocritical no? :/

It was the only way to find out the difference between the 2 so people like you can see how close they are. Aren't you the one who spent the entire last year telling everyone how cheap R/C is compared to the racing you came from, now your crying about having to buy a new motor, talk about being a hypocrite.

I didn't just come in and say "I'm gonna do this", I asked the race director and got the OK
